Great to meet you!

I am a confident, solution-focused Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides compassionate, direct therapy with humor, honesty, and genuine positive regard. I believe the way we think directly impacts how we feel and behave, and together we work to identify and shift patterns that no longer serve you.

I bring both professional expertise and lived experience in treating substance use, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I have extensive experience supporting veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, parole re-entry clients, and those impacted by addiction and complex trauma.

Clients can expect a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where they are met with compassion, practical tools, and honest guidance. My approach balances accountability with encouragement, helping clients build resilience, gain clarity, and create meaningful, lasting change.

If you are ready to move forward with greater confidence, healing, and purpose, I would be honored to support you in that process.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is direct, compassionate, and solution-focused. I believe our thoughts strongly influence our emotions and behaviors, and together we work to identify and change patterns that are no longer serving you. I use honest communication, humor when appropriate, and genuine positive regard to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered. My goal is to provide practical tools, insight, and encouragement that help clients create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, respectful, and honest first session where we begin identifying the challenges that brought them to therapy and the patterns that may be contributing to those struggles. My style is direct and matter-of-fact, and I ask thoughtful, specific questions to help gain clarity and understanding.

I believe therapy is not about someone solving your problems for you, but about helping you build the insight, coping skills, and confidence to work through challenges independently and successfully long after therapy ends. Together, we focus on practical tools, healthier thinking patterns, improved communication, and real-life strategies that support lasting growth and change.
