Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! Life can be hard and you do not have to cope alone. If you are looking for a therapist with life experiences and been in a field for over 20 years, you may want to consider me as your therapist. I have obtained my Marriage and Family Therapist Master of Arts Degree and Licensure in 2004 and have been in the field since. I have worked with individuals, couples and families in a private setting and I do work with college students as mental health and disability counselor. I do sign ASL fluently and able to serve the deaf and hard of hearing population.

Just a little information about myself: I am a mother to a teen on a spectrum and we embrace our lives with trips, gardening, singing, biking, hiking, and reading. I definitely understand how complex life can be yet it is important to take care of our own mental health, and I hope I can help you.

My approach to therapy

I will begin the session with learning about the presenting issue, about you and your family system. It is extremely important to understand how you come to be from your family of origin as part of the assessment. Then, we will discuss goals. When providing you with counseling services, I will tailor a combination of therapeutic approaches that most fit your needs.

What you can expect from me

I want to give you the most safe and comfortable space where you can be yourself while we are in this journey together.
