Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Cindy, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 16 years of experience as a clinician. I am EMDR trained and have extensive training and experience working with individuals with trauma. I work from an attachment and developmental perspective and have supported clients to understand how their early relationships can affect current, ongoing relationships with loved ones. I have expertise in the areas of stress and trauma, depression, anxiety, perinatal disorders, and early childhood mental health. I also support individuals who are experiencing job stress and burnout.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is to provide a safe and nurturing space to help you truly explore and process without a sense of shame or fear. I bring warmth to my treatment sessions and show up with an ability to hold deeply. Throughout my career, I have provided treatment in English and Spanish, and a large focus of treatment has been with women, parents/caregivers and young children.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on making sure I understand what brings you to therapy and beginning to build a relationship that will support your process. I help you identify your goals so that we begin to work on what matters most to you. I know how difficult opening up can be and I will explore with you the pace at which you feel comfortable sharing.
