Great to meet you!

I have over 30 years working in different counseling areas: including job development, employment, nutrition, life coaching, as well as mental health therapy. I graduated from St. martin's University with a Masters in Counseling Psychology in 2000. I have worked with many different people from many diverse walks of life including individuals, children and families, couples, groups, businesses, and veterans. I believe that all people can improve their lives and health through respectful therapeutic empowerment. Counseling can benefit you in several ways, including improved coping skills, communication, self- knowledge, relationships, sleep, health, and decreased grief, stress, depression, anxiety, emotional trauma, and emotional pain.

My approach to therapy

My approach is eclectic and holistic; drawing from several counseling perspectives to address change, transformation, trauma, mindfulness to improve health and decrease suffering, anxiety and depression reduction, and overall health and happiness improvement. An integrated approach is recommended focusing on Mind, Body, Emotion, and Spirit. My areas of expertise draw on techniques and practices from Neuroscience, Nutrition, Lifestyle Medicine, Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness approaches that focus on how our thoughts and behaviors can affect our emotions. I also specialize in Life, Wellness, Career, and Business Coaching. I will be working with you to clarify your goals, and I will guide you to develop action steps, accountability, as well as self-generated rewards to achieve these goals in alignment with your values and life purpose.

What you can expect from me

My approach is to provide a warm, safe environment from our very first session for you to focus on your goals and what you want to achieve in therapy. We will decide if we are a good match for your counseling needs.
