Great to meet you!

Within my last 5 years of 1:1 counseling, I've learned that I love working with adults of all ages as they navigate life transitions and social pressures. Furthermore, I have experience supporting first responders and their families. Helping them cope with the emotional and physical toll their careers can take on the individual as well as the family unit. I’m passionate about helping people dealing with codependency, anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, and grief. I focus on empowering my clients to better understand themselves while navigating life’s challenges. Additionally, I have worked as an inpatient and outpatient medical Social Worker since 2003. Assisting clients process medical trauma, grief and adjustments to new diagnosis have been part of my therapeutic/coaching journey as a therapist.

On a personal note, I love to engage in outdoor activities such as hiking and running. I find peace and beauty in each sunrise and sunset I get to witness. If you're looking for someone who understands the importance of both mental and physical well-being, I’d love to connect and see how I can support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Cognitive Grief Therapy (CGT), Healing Through Art approach and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. Each modality is used and adjusted to pivot your mindset, behavior, management of emotional regulation, and inner-child work.

What you can expect from me

Life challenges are inevitable but learning how to manage our stressors, traumas, and hardships could be beneficial. My goal is to help clients gain a greater approach and insight into their life and develop coping skills to overcome unhealthy patterns, challenges, and habits.
