Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I earned my degree from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, GA. My clinical experience includes working in private practice and community counseling agency settings. I utilize several psychotherapy approaches tailored to individual clients' needs, including Cognitive Behavioral, Integrative Therapy and Christian counseling.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is most effective when a person feels seen, heard, and understood. I know the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for that to happen with my clients. I view the success of the counseling encounter as the result of a joint commitment to a collaborative relationship between myself and the client while they are on their journey to growth, healing, and positive change. It is my mission to help bring about that positive change for those I have the privilege to work with.

What you can expect from me

During our initial session together, I will take the time to listen to your story and gain insights into what brought you in for help. I will also seek to learn what you hope to accomplish through our working together. From there, we will establish an agreed upon plan to reach those goals, built upon a foundation of mutual trust and commitment. Ultimate success will depend on the collaborative work we will do together throughout the client therapist relationship,
