Great to meet you!

I’m Dr. Hollis‐Keene, a Doctor of Nursing Practice and dual‐board‐certified Psychiatric‐Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‐BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP‐BC). I specialize in evidence‐based psychiatric care that integrates holistic/functional psychiatric care principles to support whole‐person healing. My practice blends traditional psychopharmacology with lifestyle, nutrition, and mind‐body approaches to help clients understand the root contributors to their symptoms—not just manage them.

I believe treatment works best as a collaborative partnership. My role is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered as we explore mood, anxiety, trauma, and thought‐related concerns together. With experience in direct patient care, clinical teaching, and guiding interdisciplinary teams, I bring a comprehensive perspective to each client encounter.

Whether we’re evaluating medication options, addressing underlying physiologic drivers of mental health symptoms, or building sustainable coping strategies, my goal is to help you move toward meaningful, lasting wellness.

If you’re ready to begin or continue your mental health journey, I would be honored to work alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My practice blends holistic psychiatry and functional medicine to explore root contributors to mental health concerns—such as sleep patterns, nutrition, stress physiology, trauma history, metabolic health, hormonal balance, and gut‐brain interactions. By understanding the “why” behind what you’re experiencing, we can create a plan that supports meaningful and lasting change.

I view treatment as a collaborative partnership. You bring your lived experience; I bring clinical expertise, curiosity, and evidence‐based options. Together, we build a personalized plan that may include thoughtful medication management, lifestyle interventions, trauma‐informed strategies, and supportive therapies designed to strengthen resilience and restore balance.

My goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. Healing is a process, and I am committed to walking alongside you with compassion and clinical integrity as you move toward greater wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard. I take time to understand your story—not just your symptoms—so we can begin building a clear picture of your overall well-being. Most importantly, our first session sets the foundation for a collaborative partnership. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of next steps and a sense of what our work together will look like—grounded in compassion, curiosity, and evidence‐based care.
