Great to meet you!

It has been my privilege to work with numerous individuals, families and groups as a licensed clinical social worker. For over forty years I have been an effective listener to clients in a variety of settings: community mental health, hospitals, non profit agencies, homeless services and on line platforms. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to hear what is on your heart. Your mental health is vital to success and satisfaction in life.

My approach to therapy

I was trained in the Psychodynamic model of psychotherapy; however I have gained additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy and Problem Solving Therapy. My emphasis is on Christian counseling, Cultural and Ethnic Issues, Blended Family issues, Health and Disability issues; Domestic Violence, and how one navigates transitions in their lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be heard. After an initial assessment and identifying why a person is seeking treatment, goals will be set based on what the client hopes to achieve. Weekly sessions will focus on what the client wishes to talk about related to the stated goals. Resources and psychoeducational materials will be offered as tools to supplement the client's treatment.
