Great to meet you!

I am Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I have over 15 years of psychiatric experience . I completed my graduate coursework at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA. I treat a wide variety of mental health disorders including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety and panic disorders, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, grief/bereavement, and psychotic disorders. I treat mental health disorders across the lifespan, from children ages 6 and above, through older adults age 65+.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like to involve my patients in every aspect of their care to empower them make treatment decisions that are appropriate for them and their unique life circumstances. I provide psychoeducation during each session to ensure that the patient has all of the information they need to play an active role in their care. I provide a warm, caring, compassionate, non-judgmental environment where patients can open up and truly work toward a better self.

What you can expect from our first session

During our initial session, we will dive into what brought you to seek treatment. We will conduct a psychiatric evaluation to identify your needs & how to meet them. Together, we will develop a plan that is suitable to you & your current circumstances. During follow up visits, we will discuss how your treatment is progressing and evaluate whether our current treatment plan is effective. I will be sure to provide you with all of the tools you need to be an active participant in your treatment.
