Great to meet you!

I have been providing therapy for over 25 years. I'm highly trained and experienced in treating many life problems, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, personality issues, neurodivergent issues, and LGBTQ+, and more. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology and have worked with mental health clients in corrections and in communities.

My approach to therapy

I offer a warm, understanding, curious and non-judgmental space in which clients can begin to develop trust and rapport with me as therapist. Listening to understand is key since many people have rarely felt heard or understood. We can then delve more deeply into your issues, and find hope that your life can be improved. I provide clients with a new empowering framework for managing self, relationships and life. My form of therapy is also collaborative and can be adjusted to suit changing needs as you progress.

What you can expect from me

I often use various forms of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to challenge those thought to change your feelings for the better. We'll also decide the most appropriate ways to help you begin to make progress.
