Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Dr. Cynthia McFadden, and I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals, children, and families navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful change. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered. I often integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based approaches, and creative interventions like art and play therapy—especially when working with children. I believe that each client is unique, and I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and supported from the very beginning.

During this session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, any concerns or challenges you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I may ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and overall well-being to better understand your needs.
