Dr. Cynthia Minto is a professional counselor with more than 20- years of experience working with individuals and families. As a proud military retiree, Dr. Minto has a passion for military members and understands their unique culture and stressors. Dr. Minto has experience with depression, PTSD, anxiety, chronic stress, and ADHD. Dr. Minto uses a variety of therapeutic interventions to assist with healing (Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, play therapy, as well as CBT and other modalities).

My approach to therapy

Dr. Minto's approach is collaborative and build on the sincere belief that people have the capacity to heal and will health with the right supports in place. I use a person-centered approach based on a person's presenting concerns and use modalities that will aid in recovery and support resiliency.

What you can expect from me

After a session, a client will feel heard supported and cared for. They will also walk way with tools to use between sessions to support their healing.
