I am a licensed clinical social worker and have experience working with children and families in the welfare system as well as working with clients in the legal system. I am a certified mediator in the state of Texas and have training and experience working in high conflict divorce situations as a parent facilitator/coordinator.
I have years of experience working with a widespread of mental health diagnosis where I am seeing people on their worst day. The pain from the past and present is surfacing in the moment I am meeting with them. I am certified in trauma therapy. I use a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to include mindfulness techniques.
