Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. For the past seven years, I have worked in a community health center while also starting a private practice. Working in both settings has given me the opportunity to support adults from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of mental health concerns and life experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and person-centered. I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and EMDR, tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD-related concerns, depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, and other challenges that may be affecting their emotional well-being and quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming and collaborative conversation focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your background, current concerns, symptoms, life experiences, and what you would like to accomplish through therapy. This initial assessment helps me gain a better understanding of your needs while also giving you an opportunity to get a sense of my approach and determine whether we feel like a good fit to work together.

My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and with a clearer understanding of how therapy can support you. You are also encouraged to ask questions and share what you need from therapy so we can determine together whether moving forward is the right choice for you.
