Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and a strong background in both behavioral health and primary care. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.

My approach is holistic and patient-centered, focusing on understanding the whole person—not just symptoms. I conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, provide thoughtful medication management, and work collaboratively with you to create a personalized treatment plan that supports your goals, recovery, and overall well-being.

I believe in building a trusting, respectful partnership with my clients and their families, empowering them with education, support, and tools to help them achieve and maintain mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to patient care is holistic, patient-centered, and evidence-based. I aim to provide a secure, respectful, and non-judgmental atmosphere where the patient feels recognized, appreciated, and involved in their care process.

This process begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to assess each patient's mental health needs, medical background, lifestyle, and personal objectives. The treatment plan will be a collaborative process that may include thoughtful medication management, therapy, and education to encourage informed decision-making.

I will focus on cultural sensitivity, trauma-informed care, and continuity of care, working with each patient, family, and other healthcare practitioners to provide a comprehensive and effective treatment process. The goal here is to provide a patient with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to enhance their recovery, resilience, and wellness.

What you can expect from me

The objective of your first session will be to establish a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment in which you feel comfortable expressing your concerns. We will begin by conducting a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to gain a better understanding of your mental health history, symptoms, medical history, lifestyle factors, and personal goals of treatment.

I will take the time to listen to your story, address your questions, and provide a clear and understandable explanation of the assessment and treatment process. We will work together to explore potential diagnoses, treatment options, and plans of action, which may include therapy suggestions, medication management, or referrals.

You can expect a collaborative and respectful experience in which we work together to establish a personalized plan of care and ensure that you feel informed, supported, and empowered in your pursuit of mental health and overall well-being.
