Great to meet you!

I believe that strong therapeutic relationships are built on trust, authenticity, and a genuine understanding of each client’s unique experiences. My background includes formal education in mental health and counseling, along with ongoing professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices. I have experience working in a variety of settings, which has allowed me to support individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and relationship concerns.

My approach to therapy

In my work, I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s needs, and I have experience working with diverse populations, including adults, young adults, and individuals navigating major life changes. My goal is to collaborate with clients to build insight, develop coping strategies, and support meaningful, lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and relaxed environment where we begin getting to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, along with any concerns, goals, or questions you may have. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is simply a starting point.

We’ll also talk a bit about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I may ask questions to better understand your experiences, but you’re always in control of what you choose to share and at what pace.

Additionally, I’ll explain how I work, including my approach to therapy, confidentiality, and what ongoing sessions might look like. By the end of our time, we’ll begin identifying initial goals and discuss next steps so you have a clear sense of direction moving forward.

Overall, the first session is about building comfort, clarity, and a foundation for a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship.
