Great to meet you!

Greeting! I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, a board-certified provider in psychiatry. I truly listen and offer compassionate, patient-centered care through thorough evaluations, accurate diagnoses, and tailored treatment plans. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) from Howard University. I then completed a Master of Science degree (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Walden University. I possess experience in working with both adolescents and adults who are dealing with psychiatric disorders such as Depression, Mood disorders, Anxiety, ADHD, Adjustment disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, and a range of other mental health challenges. I can help regain stability and improve your quality of life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my approach to providing care emphasizes a holistic and patient-centered model. We will work together to find a treatment plan best for your individual needs. After a thorough assessment, clients will gain a clear understanding of their mental health condition through education, giving them coping tools and strategies through cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, or other therapeutic interventions. I’ll involve them in treatment decisions, ensuring that they feel heard and respected in their care plan.

What you can expect from our first session

Initially, l conduct an introductory session, allowing you to share your story and your aspirations for treatment. My aim is to empower you to be an active participant in your mental health journey and to give you the confidence to take charge of your well-being.
