Great to meet you!

Hi, I am a licensed clinical social worker. I received my degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. I have 30+ years of experience and my practice since 2016.

We all experience challenges in their lives. I work with people from college age through retirement. I thrive to help my clients achieve their goals and live their lives at their best.

Specific concerns I assist individuals with is anxiety, depression, bipolar depression and trauma as well as life transitions.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a collaboration. I use a strength-based approach that helps you gain a balance in your life and empowered to meet your current challenges and have the skills to do so in the future. I like a person-centered approach where you set the pace and goals for our work together.

What you can expect from me

When we first meet, we begin to establish rapport. At the first appointment I will ask what brings you to therapy and listen to your story. What goals you have for therapy. We may not cover your entire story this first session. It is at your pace and developing trust will be part of our process. You will be in a safe space to share, learn and grow in your journey.
