Great to meet you!

Getting here was the first step—now let's focus on where you want to go.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life's emotional and psychological challenges.

Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, relationship difficulties, irritability, sleep problems, or feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences and work toward meaningful change.

I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and build a more meaningful life.

My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while developing practical tools to overcome life's challenges.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, strengths, culture, and goals. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and the Flash Technique for trauma.

Depending on your needs, I may also incorporate psychoeducation, stress management, emotional regulation skills, communication training, and problem-solving strategies.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and collaboration. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can share your concerns at your own pace.

During our first meeting, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, your personal history, and the goals you hope to achieve. I'll ask questions to better understand your emotional, physical, social, and family background, but you are never expected to share more than you feel comfortable discussing.

Together, we'll identify your strengths, explore what has or hasn't worked for you in the past, and begin developing a personalized treatment plan. We'll also discuss any questions you have about the therapy process so you know what to expect moving forward.
