Great to meet you!

You don't have to keep repeating a pattern just because you've been in it for a long time. Maybe the same arguments keep happening, anxiety is affecting your relationships, or you're struggling to manage emotions in ways that feel true to who you want to be. I'm Cindy, a counselor with 19 years of experience helping adults understand what's happening beneath the surface and develop practical skills for healthier communication, stronger relationships, and greater emotional balance.

My approach to therapy

I believe insight is important—but knowing why something happens isn't always enough to change it. We'll identify the patterns getting in your way and work on practical strategies you can use outside of therapy. My approach draws from CBT, attachment-based, solution-focused and using assertive communication strategies which are, always tailored to your goals.

What you can expect from me

The first session is the space to feel heard and accepted without judgment. We will take the time to talk about what has brought you to therapy and the experiences that have shaped where you are today. Together, we will identify what's most important to you and the areas which aren’t working. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, emotional regulation, conflict, or a relationship that feels stuck, we'll identify where to begin and build realistic steps forward. We will decide on treatment goals that feel meaningful and realistic to you. My goal is for you to leave therapy with more awareness, more tools, and more confidence in your ability to respond differently.
