Great to meet you!

Working with me means having a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership—we'll work together to understand what's going on, identify what's getting in the way, and find practical tools that help you move forward.

I tailor therapy to each person's unique needs and goals, drawing from approaches such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, life changes, emotional challenges, or the effects of past experiences, my goal is to help you build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change.

Throughout my career, I've worked in inpatient, outpatient, and nonprofit settings, supporting individuals from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. While I especially enjoy working with children and adolescents, I also work comfortably with adults and value helping people at all stages of life navigate challenges, build resilience, and reach their goals.

My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you can show up as you are, feel supported, and leave each session with something meaningful to take with you.

My approach to therapy

Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe, supported, and understood. My goal is to help you gain insight into the challenges you're facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop the tools and confidence needed to overcome obstacles and move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, and any goals you hope to achieve through treatment. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether we're a good fit.

When working with children or teens, I also spend time getting to know both the child and their caregiver, gathering information about strengths, challenges, and goals while helping everyone feel comfortable with the therapy process.

There's no pressure to share everything at once—we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of our session, we'll begin identifying areas of focus and discuss a plan for moving forward together.
