Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over five years of experience helping individuals navigate substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. As an Admission Therapist at WestCare / The Village South, I specialize in biopsychosocial assessments, ASAM-based level of care determination, and crisis intervention to support clients in finding the right treatment path.

My background includes residential and outpatient settings and telehealth, giving me a strong foundation in meeting clients where they are—whether in person or online. Fluent in English and Spanish, I am passionate about breaking down barriers to care and providing culturally competent, client-centered support.

I thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams and bring strong skills in intake coordination, treatment planning, and therapeutic engagement. I aim to ensure clients feel seen, supported, and connected with their needed care.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, my approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practices. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed interventions to address each client’s unique needs and goals.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and respect. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts and emotions while developing practical tools for managing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and life transitions.

Together, we work toward increasing self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and fostering personal growth that supports lasting emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can begin sharing what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, personal history, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. I’ll explain the therapeutic process, review confidentiality, and answer any questions you may have. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and developing a plan that fits your needs. My approach is collaborative and focused on helping you feel comfortable as we start working toward insight, balance, and meaningful change.
