Daibelis Nunez Ramirez

I am Daibelis Nunez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New York. With over a decade of experience in mental health and case management, I specialize in working with teenagers and adults. I earned my degree from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and transitioned to psychotherapy in 2017. My practice is built on providing thoughtful and compassionate care in a warm, non-judgmental environment. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing me to connect with a diverse range of clients.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and empathetic, utilizing a range of therapeutic methods tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I draw on Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients explore their emotional experiences. I believe in the importance of understanding the full range of influences on my clients' lives (past, present, and in between). This holistic view allows for a deeper exploration of the complex dynamics that shape thoughts, behaviors, and emotional patterns.

Clients can expect to gain deeper self awareness and insight into the challenges they face, whether it be anxiety, depression, life transitions, or personal growth. Through our sessions, they will explore the roots of their struggles and how these manifest in their lives today. My goal is to empower clients to create meaningful, lasting changes that lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life. They can also anticipate a supportive environment where their thoughts and feelings are validated, fostering personal growth and resilience.
