Great to meet you!

I am a Latinx therapist who specializes in trauma and the healing journey that follows. My approach is grounded in both professionalism and personal experience. Having done my own therapy work, I understand the courage it takes to face painful experiences, navigate life's challenges, and commit to personal growth.

I recognize that healing is not always a linear process. Growth often involves discomfort, vulnerability, and persistence. Because of this, I strive to create a compassionate, culturally responsive space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.

Whether you are processing trauma, navigating life transitions, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, authenticity, and respect for your unique experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, respectful, and holistic, grounded in the belief that healing occurs within the context of a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I consider each person's unique life experiences, including their upbringing, family dynamics, and social and cultural influences, recognizing how these factors shape their sense of self and well-being.

Drawing from evidence-based and trauma-informed modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I support clients in healing the interconnected mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to help individuals develop deeper self-understanding, process and integrate difficult experiences, and cultivate lasting change that promotes long-term healing and resilience.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to create a space where you feel seen, comfortable, respected, and supported. I take time to understand who you are, the challenges you're experiencing, and how your life experiences have shaped you, all without judgment. Together, we'll discuss what you would like to get out of therapy, identify your goals, and explore what you need from me as your therapist. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether we're a good fit to work together.
