Dr. Acosta is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Psychologist who provides individual therapy services to adults. She has specialized training and experience working with various populations – perinatal mental health, women’s issues, among other areas of clinical psychology; she also has expertise in supporting healthcare providers. Dr. Acosta has presented her grant-funded research at international conferences, published in peer-reviewed journals, and co-authored textbook chapters.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Acosta received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and postdoctoral fellowship with the Irving Harris Program in Child Development and Infant Mental Health at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is an endorsed Infant Mental Health specialist and certified in Perinatal Mental Health.
