Great to meet you!

I’m a compassionate and supportive mental health professional who believes that therapy should feel like a safe space where you can be heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, grief and loss, low self-esteem, emotional difficulties, behavioral concerns, family conflict, and challenges adjusting to life changes.

My work often focuses on helping clients better understand their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, improve communication, build confidence, and make positive decisions. I especially enjoy working with young people and helping them find ways to express feelings that may be difficult to put into words.

I recognize that every person’s experiences and needs are different, so I take the time to understand each client as an individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves while developing practical skills they can use in everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, practical, and client-centered. I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, understood, and actively involved in their own growth.

Rather than simply talking about problems, I help clients identify patterns, understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and practice healthier ways of responding to difficult situations. I also believe in celebrating progress, even when it happens in small steps.

Whether you are working through anxiety, anger, grief, low self-esteem, relationship or family difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you develop skills that can create meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin creating a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. I’ll ask questions about what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you would like to be different in your life.

You can expect a conversation rather than feeling like you are being judged or tested. I want to understand your perspective, your strengths, your challenges, and what is most important to you.

We will also begin identifying goals for therapy and discussing ways I can support you. If you are working with me as a child or teenager, I may use age-appropriate and interactive activities to make the process feel more comfortable and engaging.

You do not have to have everything figured out before your first session. You simply have to show up as you are. We can take it one step at a time and work together toward the changes you want to make.
