Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Daishea, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #142484). I have almost a decade of experience in providing support to teens, adults, and couples.

I have worked with a wide array of disorders and life challenges including but not limited to mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, trauma related disorder such as PTSD and CPTSD, relationship or marital stress, existential crises or life transitions, and self-discovery.

A Bit of My Story

Uplifting the community is one of the essential reasons we began this practice. As a Black woman, I know all too well the need for competent quality healthcare that you can trust in addressing your needs and treating them with compassion.

The work I am privileged to do is viewed as a labor of love back to the community I come from and in support of all other communities that are often marginalized. My hope is that whatever background you come from, through our work together, you feel it is respected, understood and honored throughout our therapeutic experience.

My approach to therapy

I use an existential-humanistic approach, which focuses on helping you uncover your own truths and the meanings behind them. Together, we’ll explore your values, beliefs, and life experiences, empowering you to gain insight, clarity, and a deeper understanding of yourself.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help you develop coping strategies, process emotions, and understand yourself more fully. Therapy is about discovering both the parts of yourself you appreciate and the parts that challenge you, so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and resilience.

If you’re ready for change, I’d be honored to guide you on this journey.
