My name is Daisy Calderon, and I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor. In my counseling practice, I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem, behavioral, and family issues.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and if requested, I can incorporate a Christian-based approach. My counseling style is warm, empathic, non-judgmental, and engaging.
Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space in their first session with me. We’ll start by getting to know each other and discussing what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from counseling. I’ll explain the therapy process, confidentiality, and answer any questions you may have. Together, we’ll explore your strengths, challenges, and goals, and begin identifying areas to focus on in treatment. The first session is paced at your comfort level and is meant to help you feel safe, heard, and supported as we begin working collaboratively toward your well-being.
