Great to meet you!

My professional journey began in 2013 as a 7th-grade math teacher and athletics coach, where I quickly discovered a deep passion for supporting students not only academically, but also emotionally. This realization led me to pursue a career in counseling. In 2019, I earned a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University and soon transitioned into the role of school counselor, where I’ve had the privilege of guiding students through both challenges and personal growth. As my work within the school setting evolved, so did my desire to support individuals beyond the classroom. In September 2024, I became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), allowing me to expand my scope of care and connect with a broader community in need of support. In July 2025, I launched my private practice Daisy Petals of Hope Counseling— a space rooted in empathy, trust, and the belief that healing is possible for everyone.

My approach to therapy

Whether you're navigating a difficult season, seeking personal growth, or simply need someone to talk to, I’m here to support you with compassion and care. My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative—together, we’ll tailor each session to meet your unique needs and goals, wherever you are on your journey.

What you can expect from me

I understand that reaching out for help can feel like a difficult first step, but my hope is that from the moment we begin, you feel welcomed, heard, and safe enough to express yourself openly. In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you and better understand your needs and concerns. From there, we’ll work together to set meaningful goals and explore strategies, interventions, and techniques that best support your growth and healing.
