Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Hispanic Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience supporting teens, adults, and families through life’s most complex transitions. My journey in this field, shaped by my education at Smith College and Mt. Holyoke, has been driven by a passion for working with diverse populations and "folx" from all walks of life. I specialize in supporting those navigating trauma, ASD, depression, anxiety, and grief. Whether you are seeking a therapist who understands the nuances of racial identity and LGBTQ+ xperiences or someone to help navigate a recent life shift, I am here to partner with you. I truly believe that while I provide the therapeutic tools, you are the ultimate expert on your own life and what you need to heal.

My approach to therapy

My approach is deeply relational and rooted in the psychodynamic model. This means that together, we will explore your unique history and past experiences to better understand how they shape your current challenges and relationships. I provide a trauma-informed space where you can feel safe to explore your best self—however you choose to define that. By combining this insight-oriented work with practical coping skills, I aim to provide you with a "toolbox" that serves you well beyond our scheduled sessions. My goal is to be a supportive partner in your process, offering a steady hand as you navigate the path toward your personal goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my priority is to create a comfortable, low-pressure environment where we can begin to get to know one another. We will discuss what brings you to therapy at this time and what you hope to achieve in our work together. You can expect a conversation that feels collaborative rather than clinical; I want to hear your story and understand your environment from your perspective. By the end of our first meeting, we will have a starting point for your therapeutic journey and a shared sense of how we can work together to help you feel more grounded and empowered in your daily life.
