Great to meet you!

I’m Dakota, a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and the challenges that often come with them. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in difficult thought patterns, disconnected from yourself, or simply tired of trying to manage everything on your own. Therapy can help you understand what is driving these patterns and create meaningful, lasting change—not just temporary relief.

I provide telehealth therapy for adults age 18 and older throughout Pennsylvania. My style is collaborative, direct, and compassionate. I will listen carefully to what you are experiencing, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you to build a plan that fits your goals, personality, and life. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting; we can begin wherever you are.

My approach to therapy

I draw from several evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, and narrative therapy. We may use practical tools to challenge unhelpful thoughts, strengthen emotional regulation, and manage distress. When helpful, we may also look more deeply at the experiences and stories that have shaped how you see yourself and respond to the world. Our work will be individualized rather than built around a one-size-fits-all protocol.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will have a genuine conversation about what has been difficult, what you have already tried, and what you hope therapy can change. Together, we will identify where to begin and what progress can look like. My goal is for you to leave with greater clarity, a realistic path forward, and a stronger sense that change is possible.
