Great to meet you!

I typically work with clients who consist of children, teenagers, and young adults who are undergoing stress due to life transitions, experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety, and have a history of trauma. I am passionate about helping children, youth, and adults learn to find their own voice, identify and express their feelings, and find who they are and what they love about themselves.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space for my clients. I use Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy modalities to help clients see within themselves their own strengths, skills, and abilities to create a better life for themselves. I encourage clients to challenge distorted thinking patterns and behaviors that may be preventing them from living their best lives and inspire different perspectives and more effective coping skills to promote their overall well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

I enjoy working together with my clients to set goals by discussing what is important to them, what they believe their life would be like if their current challenges were resolved, and what strengths within themselves can help make this happen. My approach to goal setting is to help clients develop tools and skills that can help change harmful behaviors, manage difficult situations, set realistic life goals, and keep track of the progress of goals ongoing over time.
