Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dakota Seale, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas with over 10 years of experience helping individuals overcome life’s challenges and reconnect with their strengths. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling and have since dedicated my career to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel supported, empowered, and understood.

My clinical work focuses on treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, OCD, phobias, and self-esteem issues. I also have experience supporting individuals through life transitions and emotional struggles that may not always have a name but still feel overwhelming.

In therapy, I believe you are the expert of your own story. My approach is collaborative and compassionate—I’m here to walk beside you, not in front of you. I often describe therapy like this: You are the captain of your ship, and I’m your first mate. I’m here to help you navigate, reflect, and steer your course when waters get rough, but ultimately, you are in charge of your journey.

Starting therapy can be intimidating, but taking this step shows strength. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a space to process life, I’m here to support you at your own pace.

Availability: Evening appointments are available Monday through Thursday at 6:45 PM and 7:45 PM, as well as Saturday sessions from 12:00–4:00 PM CST. Please check my availability or reach out directly if you have questions.

I look forward to connecting with you and being part of your healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My areas of specialization include CBT, DBT, Mindfulness-based strategies, Solution-Focused and holistic approaches to address depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, OCD, phobias, and self-esteem issues. I also work with individuals experiencing life transitions or emotional struggles that may feel hard to name but are deeply impactful.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel seen, heard, and supported in a space that is safe, compassionate, and free of judgment. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable being your authentic self—where you can unpack life’s challenges at your own pace and know that you’re not alone in the process.

In our work together, you can expect to gain greater self-awareness, emotional clarity, and tools to manage life’s stressors more effectively. I help clients build on their existing strengths while developing healthier coping strategies, stronger boundaries, and a renewed sense of direction and self-worth.

Whether we're exploring your past, navigating your present, or planning for your future, the focus is always on empowering you to take meaningful steps toward healing and growth. I strive to help you leave each session feeling more grounded, confident, and aligned with the life you want to lead.
