Great to meet you!

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years experience in healthcare. I have worked at different hospitals, including The Cleveland Clinic and Duke and have trained with thought leaders who have helped define my approach to mental wellness. I am a two time valedictorian and graduated from University at Buffalo and finished my Masters at University of Alabama. I specialize in a variety issues including Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and ADHD.

My approach to therapy

I believe every patient and situation are unique. I am non-judgmental and strive to help patients achieve a functional and fulfilling life. I use an evidenced based approach for diagnosis and treatment and routinely stay updated on new research encompassing all aspects of psychopharmacology and therapy. When warranted, I coordinate treatment with other providers who are part of the overall treatment team like therapists, primary care, specialists, and family members.

What you can expect from me

Each session is geared towards helping you navigate your journey towards thriving and not just surviving. I believe prevention is the best cure and review different aspects of your life at each visit that could impact your mood. I typically follow the latest research in suggesting psychopharmacological treatments and will always explain my reasoning in devising a unique plan. You will have someone who is on your side to offer a unique perspective or just to listen and support you.
