Great to meet you!

I work with adults who look like they’re holding it together but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients are high-functioning, insightful, and exhausted from carrying too much for too long. I’m especially comfortable working with anxiety, substance use as a coping strategy, identity confusion, and patterns that keep repeating despite your best efforts to change them.

I’m not here to judge, fix, or tell you what you should be doing. I’m curious, direct, and grounded. I believe most “symptoms” make sense in the context of what you’ve lived through—and that real change happens when we understand those patterns instead of fighting them. You don’t need to perform or have it all figured out to work with me.

Outside of work, I enjoy video games and spending time with my pugs, and I bring that same curiosity, patience, and humanity into the therapy space.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and focused on sustainable change rather than quick fixes. We slow things down enough to understand what’s actually driving your anxiety, coping behaviors, or relationship patterns—then work toward responding differently over time.

Instead of trying to eliminate discomfort, we build your capacity to stay present with what’s hard without being overwhelmed by it. Therapy with me is active and reflective: we notice patterns, connect them to your experiences, and experiment with new ways of relating to yourself and others. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s more choice, more grounding, and a life that feels worth living.

What you can expect from me

The first session will look like me asking you a bunch of questions to get to know you and your history. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope might change. You won’t be interrogated or pressured to share more than you’re ready to.

Our second session is where the work really begins. It does not consist of asking preexisting questions, we will start to explore your goals more in depth. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, help you organize what feels messy or overwhelming, and begin to get a sense of the patterns shaping your experience. Therapy doesn’t have to be dramatic to be meaningful—sometimes it starts with finally not doing this alone.
