Great to meet you!

I have worked extensively with adolescents and adults from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds during and after my formal education. I take a relational and interpersonal approach, highlighting the importance of relationships in the development of individuals and how these relationships impact present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy psychodynamically and interpersonally which means, together, we explore your unique emotional and relational experiences of the events, situations, and relationships throughout your life. This means that my training will help you face and explore things such as why intimacy is scary, your family drives you to drink, or why you struggle to say no to people.

What you can expect from me

The things that brought you to therapy likely didn't happen overnight. Our first session will involve clarifying these things and establishing goals to guide our work together.
