Great to meet you!

The core of my practice is authenticity. My goal is to provide you the empathy and connection needed to process whatever you may be dealing with. I validate, support, and sometimes challenge my clients. Therapy can be a healing, sacred process, and I aim to facilitate the experience.

I also have a passion for helping clients explore intergenerational trauma. I believe culture and family play a big role in our mental health, and I facilitate the intricacies of exploring those areas in a safe space. I have 10 years in the field working with first-generation immigrants, under-served communities, and marginalized groups. I look forward to navigating this journey with you.

My approach to therapy

As a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed Therapist, I honor the wounds of your past and help you make space for healing. Therapy can be a place where you can unpack and deconstruct unhealthy thinking patterns. It can also be a place of comfort, security, and growth. I understand the need to connect to another human and feel understood.

What you can expect from me

As part of a collaborative relationship we will work towards exploring the thoughts and feelings through a mindful approach. I work from a Dialectical Behavioral approach and integrate other theoretical approaches such as person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I help you bring awareness of the underlying issues affecting your current state of functioning.
