Damien Alston

I begin my career working in residential treatment facilities working with youth across populations. It was here where my passion for working with children and families was born. I did however, continually notice a theme with those I worked with and that was a lack of validation and support. This led to me pursuing a graduate degree in counseling to work more closely and individually with children and families. It was here where found my true passion and that was therapy.

My approach is to meet individuals where they are. Understanding (being educated in the lives of others) allows me to be the best version of myself as therapist. The relationship and therapeutic alliance is paramount for successful outcomes.

What clients can expect is to see in me is someone that is passionate and driven about "understanding." Client's can expect to be drivers of their lives with me along as passenger to support, listen, and empower them as experts of their destinies.
