Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive therapist committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to build authentic therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, empathy, and openness.

I work with adolescents, adults, and professionals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, identity exploration, emotional overwhelm, and trauma-related experiences. I also value providing affirming and inclusive care to clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals and clients seeking a therapist who understands the unique pressures and experiences impacting marginalized communities.

My goal is to help clients gain greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional wellness, and move toward healthier and more fulfilling lives.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. I integrate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, solution-focused therapy, and supportive therapy to help clients better understand patterns, process emotions, and develop practical tools for change.

I believe therapy should be collaborative and empowering. I work alongside clients to create a space where they can openly explore challenges, build resilience, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s stressors. I strive to balance support, insight, and accountability while moving at a pace that feels comfortable and emotionally safe for each client.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to feel welcoming, supportive, and conversational. Our initial meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and identify areas where you would like support.

I understand that opening up can take time, so there is never pressure to share more than you feel comfortable sharing. My priority is creating an environment where clients feel safe, respected, and understood while beginning the process of meaningful growth and healing
