Great to meet you!

I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, panic, depression, grief, identity concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to keep carrying everything on their own.

My approach is affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in practical tools. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported as we work toward greater calm, clarity, and stability. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you move forward in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma-informed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, panic, trauma, PTSD, depression, grief, identity concerns, bipolar disorder, and major life transitions. My background includes community mental health, crisis response, hospital-connected work, and outpatient care, which has shaped a therapy style that is grounded, practical, and responsive to real-life stress.

As a Black, queer therapist, I understand how identity, environment, and lived experience can affect emotional wellbeing and the way people move through the world. My approach integrates CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused therapy to help clients better understand patterns, strengthen coping skills, regulate emotions, and build a greater sense of clarity, safety, and self-trust.

I believe therapy should be affirming, collaborative, and useful. You deserve a space where you can show up fully, feel respected, and work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT. In our first session, we will slow things down and begin understanding what has been weighing on you, with care and without pressure. We will identify what is working, what is not, and what kind of support may be most helpful. From there, we will begin building practical coping skills and a path forward that feels more manageable and aligned with your goals.

I often think of therapy as crossing a bridge. Taking the first step can be hard, and the middle may feel uncertain. My role is to walk alongside you with steadiness, authenticity, and respect as you move toward greater clarity, healing, and self-trust.

I deeply value the trust it takes to begin therapy, and I consider it a privilege to be part of that process.
