I’m a formerly harsh self-critic and PhD psychologist with 30+ years of experience. I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion. If you struggle with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or relationship problems, I’m here to help.

Through therapy, you'll learn to stop judging yourself so harshly, let go of guilt, shame and blame, and treat yourself with the same kindness you show others. I help you believe in yourself and take action, even when you’re feeling anxious.

My style is gentle, compassionate and collaborative. I won’t “fix” you, judge you, or put you in a box! I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you identify and replace unhelpful thoughts with more positive, balanced ones, and Mindful Self-Compassion to help you view yourself more kindly.

What you can expect from our first session

Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I’ll help you learn how to identify incorrect or unhelpful thoughts, and replace these negative thoughts with more positive, balanced ways of thinking.

Through practicing Mindful Self-Compassion, you’ll learn how to:

  • Soothe and comfort yourself when you’re in pain
  • Motivate yourself through encouragement, not criticism
  • Bounce back faster
