Great to meet you!
Psychotherapy is a career path I came to later in adulthood after working in the advertising field for five years. While I learned a great deal about navigating human relationships in that space, my true calling came from a series of volunteer opportunities, working with adults with special needs in medical settings. From there, I started to take courses in abnormal psychology, as well as developmental psychology, which further enhanced my desire to work in the field of mental health. After receiving my Master of Social Work in 2018, I worked in a hospital outpatient mental health clinic where I assisted adults and older adults (65+) experiencing mood disorders, and complicated grief.
