A bit about my approach to therapy

In therapy, I prioritize getting to know my clients' values, experiences, and situations. I engage clients in brief assessments of thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors to identify strengths as well as maladaptive coping strategies. I believe in the importance of relationships, including the one between therapist and client, in healing wounds, improving communication, and working towards new insights and ways of living that are in alignment with your goals.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is that you will feel understood, respected, and heard after our sessions. I also hope you have have new skills and strategies in your toolkit to improve how you are feeling, as well as how to navigate difficulties in your life in the future.
