Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Northern Virginia, dedicated to helping individuals find peace, balance, and direction in their lives. Raised Christian and a parent to seven wonderful children, I bring a blend of faith, empathy, and real-life understanding to my work. My professional background includes advanced training in evidence-based therapy, with experience supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. I’ve found that the most meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to take responsibility for their growth. My goal is to create that space for you—one rooted in honesty, structure, and hope.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a values-oriented, meaning-centered perspective. Drawing from both modern psychology and timeless wisdom, I help clients confront their fears, clarify their goals, and reconnect with what gives life purpose. I believe that healing involves both self-understanding and personal responsibility—learning to transform suffering into strength. In our work together, I’ll encourage reflection, truth-seeking, and practical strategies for building resilience, peace, and self-mastery.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for you to share your story in a safe, judgment-free space. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and begin identifying the patterns or obstacles that may be holding you back. My role is to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you gain insight into both the challenges and the opportunities before you. By the end of that first meeting, you’ll have a clearer understanding of how we can work together to move toward stability, meaning, and lasting growth.
