Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a 26-year veteran of law enforcement, my experience and commitment to serving the community in high-stress environments have allowed me to personally understand the significant impact trauma and stress can have on not only our mental health, but our physical health as well.

I am trained in EMDR, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.

My approach to therapy

Although I am trained in many different therapeutic modalities, I find that what works best is meeting clients where they are, establishing partnerships, providing empathy and insight and assisting them with finding the path out of their darkness so they can find peace and light.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share what you hope to achieve in therapy. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. Time will be spent getting to know each other. I wouldn't be comfortable immediately telling a stranger about deep personal issues and I don't expect my clients to do something I wouldn't do. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
