Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dana Anderson! I'm from the Atlanta area, and I enjoy building meaningful connections and bringing a genuine, personable approach to everything I do. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my husband and daughter, along with our dog and two cats. I also enjoy reading and going for walks when the weather is nice.

I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating trauma, school-related concerns, life transitions, or other personal challenges. Many of my clients are seeking support to better understand themselves, build confidence, and develop healthier ways of coping. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, meaning we work together to identify your strengths, explore your experiences, and create practical solutions that align with your unique goals and needs.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma by recognizing its impact, building resilience, and creating a fulfilling life beyond their experiences. I also work with adolescents, supporting them as they develop autonomy while honoring their family relationships and cultural values.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect to learn more about my approach to therapy, including how I prioritize your safety while honoring your privacy and confidentiality. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the concerns you’d like to address, and the goals you have for our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and needs, and we’ll collaborate to develop a plan that feels supportive and tailored to you. My goal is for you to feel heard, comfortable, and empowered as we begin this work together.
