Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Queens, New York, with 7 years of experience helping Black and African American adults, teens, and families navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief, and the everyday pressure of just trying to hold life together. I specialize in working with Black women, mothers, and individuals who may have never had a therapist who truly understood their world — the systemic stressors, the family dynamics, the weight of showing up for everyone else. I accept most major insurances, which means quality mental health care doesn't have to come with a barrier. I offer tele-health only, so we can meet wherever you're most comfortable — at home, on a lunch break, or wherever you need to be.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and completely at your pace. I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma-focused modalities, and motivational interviewing — but I translate all of it into real, practical tools you can actually use. I'm not interested in giving you a diagnosis and a workbook. I want to understand what's happening in your actual life — the relationships, the pressures, the patterns — and build something useful together.I'm also affirming of faith and spirituality as part of wellness for clients for whom that matters. Healing looks different for everyone, and I meet you exactly where you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about you feeling safe enough to be honest — no pressure to have it all figured out or know exactly what to say. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's been heaviest lately, and what you're hoping life could feel like on the other side of this. I'll ask questions and listen closely, and together we'll start to map out what working together could look like. You'll leave with a clearer sense of direction and — hopefully — a little less alone than you walked in feeling.
