Great to meet you!

I work with individuals and couples navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, and difficult life transitions. I have particular experience supporting individuals struggling to process grief and loss, or past trauma. My practice includes working with people coping with low self-esteem, substance use, infertility, postpartum mental health concerns, menopause, infidelity, and divorce. I also have specialized clinical experience working with those struggling with chronic illness and chronic pain, caregivers supporting loved ones with Dementia, and clients affected by family estrangement.

My clinical approach is grounded in inclusivity, respect, and social awareness. I am affirming of LGBTQI+ identities, supportive of immigrants, and committed to human rights. I actively work against racism and strive to create a space where all clients feel seen, and safe to explore their experiences.

My approach to therapy

At the core of my work is a deep belief in human resilience. I help clients recognize their strengths while developing practical tools to shift unhelpful thinking patterns, build self-compassion, and create meaningful change. I actively work to help clients identify thought distortions and change patterns of negative or anxious self-talk. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking greater insight, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and move forward with intention.

As a Therapist, I strive to be warm, attentive, and direct. Clients have shared that they connect easily with me and feel comfortable talking to me. I aim to build a genuine connection and a collaborative relationship, where you feel supported, but also gently challenged in ways that promote growth.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will include getting acquainted, while I learn about the reasons that brought you to therapy. We will discuss your goals, and what you dream of when you think of a better tomorrow. I will share my clinical approach and ways I may be able to help you meet your goals.
