Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome 😊 I am a proud Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. I am grateful to have partnered with some of the most amazing people as they attempt navigate this thing called “life”. I have two advanced degrees including a Master of Social Work and a Master of Education. My areas of clinical speciality include, but are not limited to grief, loss, bereavement, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, race and cultural identity, navigating workplace challenges and career development. I encourage you to book a 15 minute consultation to explore whether I am the “right” therapist for you!

My approach to therapy

I believe that a counselor and client must first identify if they are a “good fit”. The journey of engaging in mental health therapy takes courage and can be a deeply personal and transformational experience when working with the “right” clinician. My practice is rooted in the belief that the client is the expert and the most powerful driving force in their life and their treatment experience. My role is to serve as a partner and at times a vessel during this journey. I will listen to you, encourage you, challenge you, help you identify triggers and patterns, as well as teach you new skills and strategies to help you feel better, while you navigate this “thing” called life.

What you can expect from me

In our space you are free to be you! Together we will identify the direction of your choice at the start of each session. This is your time! We can integrate a spectrum of activities to enhance the treatment session experience based on your needs and preferences including but not limited to talk therapy, worksheets/written activities, journaling, prayer, mindfulness, etc.
