Great to meet you!

I believe meaningful therapy starts with feeling truly seen and understood without judgment. In our time together, you can expect warmth, curiosity, and genuine respect. Together, we’ll work to better understand what you’re experiencing and what might help create lasting change.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker and earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before opening my private practice in 2021, I worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings with clients across the lifespan, from children to older adults.

Today, I work with adults mainly experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, as well as those navigating challenges related to relationships, identity, and major life transitions.

Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me doing yoga, or attempting to garden with my dog Ralph by my side.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and guided by your unique needs, experiences, and goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, CBT, and DBT, with a strong emphasis on mindfulness and self-compassion. In our sessions, you can expect a calm, supportive, and genuine presence. I believe therapy can be challenging while also leaving room for humor and real connection along the way.

What you can expect from me

The format of your first session depends on what feels right for you. Some clients want to dive in: we'll review your intake, talk through what's bringing you in, and start setting goals together. Others prefer to ease in first, simply getting to know each other and ensuring the right fit. Either way, there's no pressure to share more than what feels comfortable. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, with a sense of hope that we can do this work together.
